Fairfield Township is seeking a part-time public works laborer/operator/driver. The work includes maintaining the order and operation of the convenience center, road work, buildings maintenance, public work projects, snow plowing, lifting of heavy equipment, litter control and general maintenance of the Township. Must possess a NJ driver’s license, CDL License preferred or be prepared to obtain within 3 months of employment and minimum of three (3) years of labor experience. TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE (ADMINISTRATIVE)-P/T-FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Fairfield Township is accepting applications for a P/T Temporary Employee (Administrative). The Township is seeking a qualified person under direction, acts to assist Township Administrator in performing all of the functions and duties of his/her office regarding all municipal affairs departments and operations and to perform such additional functions and duties as shall be prescribed by the Mayor and Township Administrator. Position provides administrative support for the Administrator, Clerk, Registrar, Planning /Zoning, Tax Collector, Code Enforcement and other municipal departments. Educational Requirements; Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field. Applicants who do not meet the above educational requirement my substitute additional work experience as described below. Minimum of five (3) years of administrative/management supervisory experience which shall have involved setting program or organizational goals and objectives, establishing organizational structure or determining the need for and developing plans for organizational changes, setting policy for the organization or program managed by establishing program emphasis and priorities and developing operating and procedural guidelines, and directing the work of the organization or program through subordinate levels of supervision Appointees will be required to possess a valid driver’s license in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the positon.
